Re: Let's name some names
Interesting to check out the Borg after so long and find this thread. Sometimes life, new hobbies etc. get in the way. As for me, still brewing. Still looking for the perfect recipe. Still hoping for that Best of Show one day (although I'm trying to think of a good beer for a Worst of Show category in an upcoming Chicago competition). Working on the house and yard, and piano practice don't leave a lot of time for forum activity (Bach is tough when you're learning at 50+). I need to check in more often; kind of miss you all.

Bach can be challenging at any age. Try Chopin or even Scott Joplin. When a virtuoso on an instrument writes music for that instrument, they're really bringing their A Game.oly wrote:(Bach is tough when you're learning at 50+).
Good to see a post from you, Oly, and I'm glad you're still brewing, even if you're not posting as much.

Welcome back, Oly!
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
