16 lbs of brisket down for a 10 hour nap. Needs to get a lot of rest for the trip to Asheville.

That's gonna be awesome. I was going to make crab cake sliders, but with the brisket and the boudin that Paul and Chuck are bringing, I thought I would skip the cakes. Instead, I'm going to make a Beer Cheese and Bacon pull apart bread. And I'm making a total of 6 lbs of venison snack sticks today. 3 lbs of cracked pepper and garlic, and 3 lbs of Cajun. They'll be good to chew on all weekend.

Jody says she's gonna do her chicken pot pie and some kinda chocolate dessert.
She mentioned doing egg casserole for breakfast one morning.

Going to my friend's house, we were in high school together, then room-mates. We have watched every Superbowl together since 1979, except two. My chili has become a tradition, and a favorite.

Never mind, there it is.

Damn. I guess I better figure out something good to make... Busyness at work has caused me to totally get off path on this. Since you all seem to have mains covered, I might so side or dessert route. Hmm....

Well, I may bring a side or dessert regardless, but at the very least I'll bring some juicy dank IPAs... that work for you, BL? ;)

I've been craving the NEIPA's or anything like it. I won't turn anything down but have to ask, do I have to share them? :thanks:

Swen, my wife and I were talking about this just this past weekend......due to both work and home issues the last 2 weeks, we haven't even had a chance to sit down together and plan anything. We may just think of something last minute when we stop at the store to stock up.

I was thinking red beans and rice but since it basically takes 1/2 day to do it and we've got a tour SB sunday, I'm not sure. and I'd have to buy most of the stuff here locally to do that so, it may just be what it is. OR maybe I'll just buy a round of drinks and let that count. :shots:
