Re: Something was off
This sounds like a DMS issue that may have occurred when you rehydration your yeast or (less likely) the malt was contaminated with a "wort bacteria.” I am testing this theory now, but we would have had the same issue with our 2 gallon cans (since they are canned from the same batch). I will l...

Re: New to the Borg. Had bad batch of brewdemon twisted monk
Hi guys! I'm pretty new to brewing an trying to learn all I can. My first batch was pretty good and is still bottle conditioning further. It was the evil Pilsner that came with my brewdemon kit. My second batch I just tasted and gave me many questions. It was the twisted monk wheat beer from brewde...

Re: Any ETA on the 6G conical from BrewDemon?
Our 7 gallon fermenter is on its way for final testing. Can't wait to get my hands on this beast! If all goes well, it should be ready for sale before the end of the year. I will know for sure in a week…we should have the price by the end of the month. Cheers!

'At this price they are either clearing out old stock, discontinuing these refills, or discontinuing that size can or offer (2 cans together).' I received my shipment yesterday and the expirations dates were all Sept 2015. Could be one of the other reasons Rick stated though. Yes, we are making roo...

Re: Any ETA on the 6G conical from BrewDemon?
Hey Guys, Sorry it took so long to jump in, but it has been crazy busy around here! As you may know, after receiving my samples back in August…there were some tweaks that needed to be made and material that needed to be matched. And as usual, this all took longer then expected. The material finally ...

Our Signature Series 1.7kg cans are complete recipes and require no additional fermentables. This means you can buy a single 1.7kg can and make a 2.5 gallon batch for $6 less than the price of our 2 gallon signature refill. Cheers!

Re: Aliens attack! Get your own mothership now!
The threading is one of those things we are looking to change. Although the tri clamp flange built directly into the fermenter was my first option…the manufacturing process made this impossible. Plus if you ever dropped this on that plastic flange it may break or disfigure and become unusable. Also,...

Re: LBK transfer to secondary
FWIW, When I use my BrewDemon fermenters,I usually rack it to a slimline for bottling.Tell you why.I just don't trust the spigots.Whether you have it installed correctly or not,I just don't trust them.My Slimlines have much more "Beefy" spigots. When I use my old trusty LBKs ,they have th...

Had to make some minot adjustments…and now we are looking at upgrading the plumbing (for upgradeability), it may add a few more dollars but I think it will be worth it in the end. What do you guys think?
