I really miss brewing. Sure to health issues I haven't brewed a batch in 9 months now. Brewing and cooking are the two things I miss most.

Me and Yank met up for lunch today. Talked family, jobs, and oh yeah, beer. I got a couple of bottles of cider, gave him an APA and a Cream Ale. Hopefully the picture show up here.

I used pb powder with a Chocolate Stout last year. I put it in the secondary and racked on top of it for 60 days. I loved it. Just enough peanut to hint at it followed by the chocolate. I'm not much of a stout guy, but I really like this one.

I have to shut down every summer here. I just don't have any place to keep a fermenter cool during the hot months. Summer is short here though, so really only two months. And truthfully, I kind of enjoy having that break.

The tribute they did narrated by Robin Roberts was really well done and pretty emotional. I grew up Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann on sports center doing The Big Show. Then Stuart Scott came along and pushed things even farther. He really was a pioneer in sports broadcasting.
